What difference will you make? In the last year our Centre has offered support to our community of 220 members. We have over 600 engaging and fun English classes and 2000 appointments offering support with challenges such as housing or healthcare or dedicated help to be confident online. We also host dance and choir classes at our three hubs in Islington, offering a warm welcome and support to those feeling alone or vulnerable. Trustees are encouraged to join in activities as their time allows and get to know the talented staff team and energetic volunteers.
What are we looking for?
- A trustee with a finance qualification and relevant experience.
- The ability to work with our Treasurer to improve our collective financial knowledge.
- Commitment to succession planning and board strategy.
- A background that values lived experience; we already include former clients on the board.
Hybrid Work will be hybrid, coordinating between in‑person board meetings and remote responsibilities.
