Overview
Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic experienced Business Support Administrator within the Devon & Cornwall Liaison & Diversion (L&D) team (which forms part of the Integrated Non-Custodial Service (IN-CS)).
The L&D service engages with individuals at the very beginning of their journey through the criminal justice system, typically when they first come to the attention of the police and are arrested. Practitioners carry out initial assessments, provide guidance and support individuals as they navigate the justice process until a resolution is achieved. The team supports people with vulnerabilities including substance misuse, homelessness, learning disabilities and mental health needs, and acts as a referral point with proactive follow-up to help access treatment and rehabilitation appointments. The overarching goal is to enhance health and well-being, reduce vulnerability and lower the risk of re-offending.
The team is based in Exeter and offers flexible hybrid working arrangements based on business requirements.
Main duties
Within the IN-CS service, the post holder will provide administrative support to the L&D team which will include but is not limited to: data entry, processing referrals, supporting clinicians, accurate minute taking and distribution, diary management, procurement, inputting sensitive data onto the patient records system, managing inboxes, and supporting the team managers. Provision of administrative support to other teams within the service may also be requested from time to time.
