An exciting administration opportunity has arisen to work within Coombehaven Ward at The Cedars. Coombehaven is a 16‑bed adult acute inpatient ward providing recovery focused and compassionate care. The role is up to 37.5 hours per week. This role will give you insight into adult mental health conditions and the therapies we offer. It provides lifelong skills in dealing with challenging situations and diverse individuals, and the chance to contribute to positive changes in the NHS and society.

Main duties:

  • Provide support to the Ward Manager and MDT.
  • Minute taking of MDTs, business meetings and adhoc professional meetings.
  • Amend and update staff rotas (Health Roster).
  • Order supplies.
  • Upload patient records.
  • Upload to staff files.
  • Maintain petty cash.
  • Produce packs for patients.

Qualifications – Essential:

  • Business Administration Level 3 / T Level qualification in Management and Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.

Qualifications – Desirable:

  • ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence) or equivalent experience.

Experience – Essential:

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change.
  • Previous experience within an administrative or secretarial team.
  • Experience dealing with confidential and complex information.
  • Ability to take accurate formal and informal minutes.
