Isle Vets in Ely, at the heart of Cambridgeshire, is looking for a new team member to join our friendly and supportive practice. We take pride in delivering exceptional care to a diverse range of animals, from beloved pet horses to large farm livestock. With almost all our work being ambulatory, a valid driving licence is essential.
A Unique and Varied Caseload
Our practice offers a fascinating mix of cases, which is predominantly Equine focussed with a smaller element of Farm. Our farm clients range from smallholders with pigs and alpacas to large commercial farms managing pedigree beef suckler herds. For those who enjoy something a little different, we even have opportunities to work with zoo animals. You might be performing dentistry on a camel, and the next, you could be reducing the beak on a giant tortoise.
Our routine work includes general health checks, while our surgical cases involve broken limbs, caesareans, rig operations, and laser procedures. We have excellent access to equine referral facilities for any cases requiring specialist treatment.
