Isle of Wight Pearl is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a kitchen that’s been growing in reputation year on year. Lead us into the future as we develop the perfect breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon teas for locals and visitors to enjoy.

Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for delivering consistent, delicious, on-brand food covering breakfast, lunches, and afternoon tea.
- Leading a small team of three in the kitchen while working alongside our cafe manager to foster a positive and fun culture.
- Managing administrative tasks such as ordering and waste control to support efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborating with our Finance Director and Managing Director to meet financial and operational targets.
- Continuing our commitment to sourcing locally and enhancing the quality and value of our menu. You will contribute fresh ideas to advance this goal.
- Ensuring our Food Hygiene Rating is maintained and overseeing health and safety in the kitchen and FOH areas daily.

The Pearl Café operates 7 days a week, requiring regular weekend and public holiday work. During peak season, team members should be available during school holidays. No evening shifts are required. You will need to provide and maintain your own whites.
