We are recruiting for an experienced, ambitious, and highly capable House Manager to lead the food, beverage, and front-of-house operations at one of the Islands most prestigious Yacht Clubs. We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic leader who can combine operational excellence with commercial acumen and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality to members and visitors alike.
The House Manager will oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, plan and deliver major Club events and private charters, manage up to 40 seasonal staff and an Assistant Manager, and maintain high standards across all services. Success in this role is measured by a natural ability to motivate teams, manage KPIs, control costs, and create memorable experiences for members and guests.
On offer is a highly competitive salary based upon experience of between £35k to £45k, professional development opportunities through training and qualifications, a supportive team environment with a strong focus on work-life balance and a dynamic and experienced management team already in place.
Candidate Profile
- Significant senior hospitality experience, ideally across hotels, resorts, or private clubs.
- Proven track record in high-volume operations and event delivery.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams with professionalism and authority.
- Commercially minded, with experience in budgets, cost control, stock management, and financial KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with members, staff, and the Club’s senior management/board.
- Flexible and resilient, able to work long hours, early mornings, and late nights during peak season.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality experiences, with an eye for detail and operational excellence.
