Our client is a well-established multi-disciplined property consultancy with offices on the Isle of Wight and the South Coast advising on all areas of property including planning and development, sales, purchases and lettings.
Due to continued growth their Isle of Wight office is expanding so they are now recruiting for a driven, self-motivated individual with a passion for working within the rural community to assist their experienced team to provide a quality service to their clients.
In this very rare role, you would be supporting the Planning & Development and Rural Consultancy teams with a focus onprofessional, research and administrative duties.
With a reputation for handling some of the island’s most desirable rural properties, this role offers a superb opportunity to combine career progression with an unbeatable lifestyle working with some of the very best professionals in the industry.
The candidate for this role would ideally have some work experience in the rural land and planning consultancy industry, have a qualification or be working towards a qualification in an RICS or MRTPI accredited degree.
You should also have a proven ability to be well-organised, flexible and a proven ability to work with multiple partners and clients at any given time whilst staying calm under pressure.
It is also essential you have a full driving licence for this role.
Main duties
- Supporting the planning and rural consultancy teams with a range of professional, research, analysis andhigh level administrative tasks
- Engaging with clients, local authority and external consultants/bodies
- Undertaking research, collating data, preparing reports, tenancy agreements/licences up to clientpresentation standards
- Drawing up plans to accompany official documents
- Undertaking and assisting with site visits
