We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to play an important role in helping our patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical skills, build lasting patient relationships and work alongside a supportive team committed to delivering outstanding care.

Salary: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.

Working Hours

Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, polishing and plaque and tartar removal.
  • Carry out comprehensive oral health assessments and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Take and process digital dental radiographs where appropriate.
  • Educate and support patients by providing personalised oral hygiene advice and preventative care guidance.
  • Adhere to high standards of cross‑infection control and sterilisation procedures.
  • Ensure instruments and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage appointments efficiently and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
  • Keep up to date with current dental techniques, technologies and professional regulations.

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified and registered Dental Hygienist.
  • Strong understanding of oral anatomy and preventative dental care.
  • Experience in dental radiography.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate, reassure and build rapport with patients.
  • A team‑oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
  • Experience using dental practice management software would be advantageous.
