Grab this \”once in a career\” opportunity to be part of the team setting up a brand new educational psychology department within the new Children’s Services Directorate at the Isle of Wight Council! What will you be doing? Be an integral part in the creation of our Educational Psychology Service. Be part of the strategic projects the Educational Psychology Service lead on. Develop and apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, monitoring and tracking progress of children and young people with SEN. Support in developing and monitoring service planning, including KPI’s and statutory timeframes. Be part of developing a traded offer. Represent the EP Service at key meetings and partnerships. Work with senior colleagues to drive forward the Education Strategy. Work with senior colleagues to improve SEN provision across the Island and contribute towards our Safety Valve work. Have a wide range of work including statutory and non-statutory work. About you: You will need to be a professionally qualified Educational Psychologist |Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Able to work as part of a team. Ability to access face to face meetings locally. High quality verbal and written communication skills. A commitment to ensuring children and young people across the Isle of Wight achieve their best outcomes and develop into independent adults.
