Overview
16 hours per week
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual with a clean driving license? Do you enjoy helping others and making a difference in your community? We are looking for a Part-Time Driver to join our dedicated team at Plean Dene. You will provide a vital service for our residents, maintaining their access to Day Services and/or community activities (e.g., trips to Donkey Sanctuary, coffee mornings, etc.) or support to various appointments.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and events.
- Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with care staff and residents.
Requirements
- Full clean D1 UK driving license.
- Friendly, patient, and respectful manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
- DBS check will be required prior to employment.
