About the role
Do you want a rewarding role where you can lead support that helps children and young people with disabilities build independence, confidence and life skills every day? Join Braddan Community Hub as a Senior Community Support Worker and deliver person centred support across homes, schools, community settings and the Hub. Work directly with children and young people with complex needs, delivering outreach and short term support packages and providing 1 to 1 and 2 to 1 support, while building strong relationships with families and partner professionals. You will also guide Community Support Workers, contribute to supervision and development, and play a key role in the day to day running of the service. This varied role offers the chance to work across Braddan Community Hub and Ramsey Respite services, contribute to service development, and step up for the Service Lead or Duty Manager when required. - A competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum.
- Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements: the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.
