About the role
Could you be the governance expert helping to shape the future of education in the Isle of Man?
As Secretariat to the Education Council and UCM (University College Isle of Man) Governing Body, you'll work at the heart of education governance, building strong relationships with senior leaders, governors and school representatives across the Island. You'll provide expert advice, help ensure effective and compliant decision-making, and play a key role in connecting people, information and processes across the Department.
Working within a busy and engaging office, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact across the education system, supporting governing bodies to operate effectively and helping members develop the knowledge and confidence they need to fulfil their responsibilities. Your proactive approach, resilience and ability to build strong relationships will help you anticipate challenges, influence positive outcomes and support effective governance across the Isle of Man.
