About the role

Looking for a catering role that offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to lead?

Join Reayrt Skyal as an Assistant Cook and help deliver nutritious, well-balanced meals that support residents' health, wellbeing and individual needs.

Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll prepare and serve a variety of meals and snacks, adapt menus where needed, and ensure food is produced to the highest standards of quality, safety and presentation.

You'll also play an important role in meeting specialist dietary, cultural and texture requirements, helping to create a positive dining experience for those accessing the service.

You’ll take ownership of a range of kitchen responsibilities, from food preparation, stock control and ordering supplies to maintaining rigorous food hygiene, allergen management and HACCP standards.

You'll have the opportunity to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, using your organisation, initiative and attention to detail to ensure the service runs smoothly.

In return, you'll join a dedicated team where your experience, professionalism and commitment to high standards will be valued and supported.

Bring your catering expertise to a role where quality food and quality care go hand in hand.
