About the role
Could you lead and develop a specialist physiotherapy service while delivering advanced care for patients with complex conditions?
As Physiotherapy Out-Patient Team Lead, you'll lead a dedicated team across Musculoskeletal Outpatients, including self‑referral services, First Contact Physiotherapists, Rheumatology and Women's Health. Alongside managing the day‑to‑day operation of the service, you'll provide expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with highly complex musculoskeletal conditions.
You'll combine advanced clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, supporting and developing physiotherapists, support staff and students while helping to shape the future direction of the service. The role also includes leading service improvement initiatives, driving evidence‑based practice and working closely with colleagues across healthcare settings to enhance patient pathways and outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence service development, support innovation and play a key role in the strategic and operational leadership of Physiotherapy services on the Island.

- Accommodation may be available for the first 6 months in your role at a reduced rate for non-Island residents, subject to availability.
- A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month. This role also qualifies for a recruitment incentive of £3,000, payable in the 1st, 13th, and 25th months of employment
