About the role
Are you looking to work in a busy healthcare science environment?
As Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be working alongside Biomedical Scientists within the Pathology team in a supporting role, to ensure the smooth and accurate reception and processing of patient samples.
Day-to-day, your duties will include collecting specimens and requests from wards and other departments; sorting, matching, labelling and distributing patients’ samples; entering data into the Laboratory Information System; and preparing samples for analysis.
This is a permanent part-time position consisting of 15 hours per week.
