About the role
Enjoy getting out on site, investigating issues and working with operators to uphold high standards?
As a Road Transport Licensing Committee Inspector, you'll primarily work with goods vehicle, carrying out inspections of operating centres and maintenance records, investigating complaints, and producing reports that support decision making by the Committee.
You'll also support public passenger vehicle regulation when required, working closely with drivers, enforcement agencies and other regulators to promote compliance across the sector.
Put your investigative skills to work in a varied role that combines field based inspections, problem solving and stakeholder engagement.
You'll build strong professional relationships, provide practical guidance to operators, contribute to licensing and compliance matters, and play an important part in maintaining confidence in the Island's transport industry.
