About the role
Could you help people maintain their independence by ensuring the right equipment is available, safe and ready to use when needed?
As Wheelchair and Therapy Equipment Technician, you’ll support patients across the Isle of Man by maintaining, repairing and preparing a wide range of therapy equipment and wheelchairs.
Working within the Community Equipment Service, you’ll play a key role in helping people access the equipment they need to live safely and independently.
You’ll undertake repairs, servicing and reconditioning of equipment, support the preparation of items for issue, and work closely with therapists and other team members to keep equipment in excellent condition.
The role also includes visiting patients’ homes to install minor adaptations, helping improve mobility and day-to-day independence.
This is a hands‑on opportunity to develop technical skills, build experience within a healthcare setting and work as part of a supportive team committed to improving outcomes for patients.
