About the role
Could your passion for the arts help shape the future of creativity in the Isle of Man?
This is a unique opportunity to join the Isle of Man Arts Council as a Volunteer Member and play a leading role in supporting, championing and developing the Island's thriving arts and cultural sector. From helping make funding decisions that bring creative projects to life, to influencing the strategic direction of arts development, you'll work alongside artists, venues, cultural organisations and partners such as Culture Vannin to make a lasting impact across our communities.
We're looking for an enthusiastic advocate for the arts who can bring insight, creativity and a fresh perspective to Council discussions. Whether your experience comes from working in the creative sector, volunteering or participating in the arts, you'll help ensure that creativity remains accessible, inclusive and inspiring for everyone. You'll champion equality, amplify underrepresented voices and contribute to exciting cultural opportunities that enrich life on the Island.
With a commitment of around two days per month over a four-year term, this is your chance to help shape the future of arts and culture while giving something meaningful back to the community.
Things to note
A provisional interview date has been scheduled for 07/09/2026.
