About the role
Ready to lead, support and shape high‑quality adult social care practice across the Island? Join the Adult Generic Team as a Senior Practitioner and take on a key leadership role where your expertise drives both people and practice forward. You’ll guide and support Social Workers and Social Work Assistants, helping to maintain high professional standards, manage complex casework and ensure statutory responsibilities are delivered effectively. From allocating work and overseeing quality, to stepping in for the Team Manager when needed, your influence will be felt across the whole service. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll balance leadership with a small caseload, working directly with adults who have complex needs, disabilities or are at risk. You’ll collaborate with partners, contribute to service improvement and support a culture that values accountability, innovation and respect.
