SENIOR MANAGER - LICENSING & ENABLEMENT

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority ("the Authority") regulates firms engaged in financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, investments, fiduciary services and fund administration.

The Authority is also responsible for oversight of anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance for those involved in the financial sector as well as a range of other Designated Businesses and has oversight of compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Act 2017.

An exciting and dynamic opportunity has arisen at the Authority for the role of Senior Manager - Licensing & Enablement within the Enforcement & Intelligence Division.

This role offers a stimulating and rewarding position for the right candidate with responsibility for leading and overseeing the team in respect of efficient and effective management of the licence application process and the process for assessing individuals proposed to act in controlled functions.

The successful candidate will have extensive relevant industry experience in an enforcement, operational, legal, compliance, assurance, risk or audit role and will have experience in leadership and people management.

Extensive experience of working on complex investigations, inspections or assurance work, ideally in the context of financial services and/or in a professional disciplinary context is also essential.
