This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

About the role
Could you help children and young people with complex health needs stay connected to learning and achieve their potential?
As Senior Education Support Officer within the Pathway for Children and Young People with Illness (PCI) service, you'll provide tailored educational and pastoral support to pupils who are unable to attend school due to complex health needs. Working across a range of settings, you'll help young people remain engaged with learning and supported throughout their educational journey.
You'll deliver individual and small‑group sessions, create bespoke learning resources and work closely with families, schools and other professionals to support progress and wellbeing. You'll also contribute to personalised support plans, monitor development and help facilitate successful transitions back into school where appropriate.
