This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year. Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.
About the role
Join our friendly team as a Senior Education Support Officer (Pastoral Support) at Ballakermeen High School, where you will be responsible for overseeing the pastoral progress of students within a year group. You will work alongside an existing team of teaching Year Leaders across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. As a team, we are committed to supporting all students and promoting their wellbeing. You will encourage positive behaviour within the year group and work closely with parents, external agencies, and staff across Ballakermeen. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, confidence in working with both students and staff, and an enthusiastic, positive approach. If you’re keen to contribute to a team that works closely and with purpose, we’d be glad to hear from you! This role is due to commence in the Autumn Term 2026, or earlier by agreement.
