Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionally based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. About the role
Do you enjoy helping children feel settled, safe, and included? Working as a Lunchtime Assistant at Cronk-y-Berry School, you’ll take the lead during one of the busiest parts of the school day. You’ll be based in the dining hall and out in the playground, keeping things running smoothly - supporting pupils, stepping in when needed and setting clear expectations around behaviour, safety and respect. It’s a hands‑on role where your presence makes a noticeable difference. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll support staff in creating a calm, structured lunchtime, helping to ensure a positive and consistent experience for pupils. No formal qualifications are needed – just a steady approach, good judgement, and the confidence to engage with children and colleagues alike.
