About the role
Could you lead the development of waste services that will support the Isle of Man for years to come?
Take the lead on one of the Island's most important environmental and infrastructure services. As
Head of Waste Management , you'll shape the strategic direction of waste services across the Isle of Man, ensuring the delivery of efficient, sustainable and compliant operations while driving forward the Island's long-term waste management ambitions.
You'll provide leadership across a diverse portfolio that includes the Energy from Waste Plant, Animal Waste Processing Plant, Civic Amenity Sites and landfill operations, helping to ensure essential services continue to meet the needs of residents, businesses and communities across the Island.
Working at a senior level within the
Department of Infrastructure , you'll influence policy, lead major projects and collaborate with government departments, local authorities, industry partners and elected members to deliver strategic objectives.
From overseeing significant budgets and contracts to developing the Island's Waste Management Strategy and supporting environmental and climate change priorities, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact while leading and developing a high-performing team committed to continuous improvement and excellent service delivery.
