About the role
Could your next career move put you at the centre of Government decision-making?
As Head of Policy Development, you'll take on a high‑profile leadership role at the heart of Government, working closely with Ministers and senior leaders to shape corporate and national priorities and support decision-making on matters of national importance.
Leading the Cabinet Office Policy Development Team, you'll play a key role in delivering the objectives of the Chief Minister, Minister for the Cabinet Office and Council of Ministers.
Leading a skilled and dedicated team, you'll help turn ideas into action, delivering meaningful change across a wide range of Government priorities.
Working with colleagues across Government, stakeholders and communities, you'll use evidence, insight and engagement to develop practical solutions, provide advice on emerging issues and guide major initiatives from development through to delivery and evaluation.
You'll also play an important role in supporting legislative development, championing new ways of working and ensuring Government initiatives deliver effective outcomes that make a lasting difference to the Island.
