About the role

Position: Education Support Officer at Ballakermeen High School.

The role is term‑time (38 weeks per year), with a full‑time equivalent of 37 hours.

You will support students with complex and additional needs to access learning, build confidence and succeed both inside and outside the classroom, working closely with teachers, the SENCO and families.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with complex and additional needs to access learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO and families to develop and implement support plans.
  • Assist students in building confidence and achieving success inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Enhanced with Barring Police Check is required; the cost will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
  • Relocation package is not available for this role.
