This role is a limited term appointment for 12 months.

Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

As a Science Technician at Ballakermeen High School, you'll play a key role in bringing science to life for students.
Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team, you'll prepare equipment and resources, maintain specialist materials, and help ensure practical lessons are delivered safely and effectively.
Supporting a busy Science Faculty, you'll help set up experiments, manage laboratory resources, and provide valuable support to teaching staff.
Your work will enable engaging, hands‑on learning experiences that spark curiosity and deepen students' understanding of science.

The working hours for this role will be 8am – 4pm or 8.30am - 4.30pm, term time, plus one week of the school holidays.
Please note a relocation package is not available for this role.
