About the role
Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual who wants to support people to live active, social and fulfilling lives? Join our Day Centre team as a Bank Activity Support Worker, helping to create a welcoming environment where companionship and meaningful interaction are encouraged and valued. In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging recreational and community based activities, encourage independence and informed decision making, and provide specialist support for individuals with more complex needs, including dementia. You will assist with personal care where required and work alongside other professionals to promote communication, independent living skills and active participation both within the centre and out in the community. By ensuring service users are safe, engaged and well supported throughout the day, you will also provide carers with essential respite and peace of mind.
