The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (“the Authority”) regulates firms engaged in financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, investments, fiduciary services, and fund administration. The Authority is also responsible for oversight of anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance for those involved in the financial sector as well as a range of other Designated Businesses and has oversight of compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Act 2017.
ASSISTANT MANAGER – HIGH AND MEDIUM IMPACT (HMI) SUPERVISION DIVISION
An opportunity has arisen at the Authority for the role of Assistant Manager in the HMI Supervision Division. This role offers a rewarding position for the right candidate, to assist with the effective and efficient supervision of high and medium impact firms (excluding banks and insurers).
Relevant finance sector industry experience in an operational, compliance, assurance, risk or audit role, together with a working knowledge of the associated legislation, regulation and guidance, are desirable.
The successful candidate should hold, or be working towards, a professional qualification relevant to the financial services industry. Strong analytical skills, a flexible attitude and the ability to quickly and accurately assimilate information are essential.
