About the role:
- Deliver high quality classroom teaching and provide cover across multiple classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, including PPA and leadership release.
- Teach in line with the school’s approach, build positive relationships with pupils and families, and work with colleagues and other professionals to meet individual learning needs.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Enhanced police check (cost covered by the Isle of Man Government).
- No relocation package is available for this role.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary that increases each 12 months until reaching the salary maximum.
- Subject to eligibility, offer of two pension arrangements: Teachers Superannuation scheme or Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) arrangement.
- Student Loan scheme: For returnees participating in the Department’s Student Loan scheme, loan repaid after second year of work at an island school. Repayment is subject to a maximum of £7,500 for a three‑year degree or £10,000 for a four‑year degree.
