The individual will safely and efficiently support the daily operation of the LPG business, including delivering to customers a safe, quality and efficient standard of operational service.
LPG Driver Responsibilities.
- HGV driving (if applicable)
- Customer deliveries of LPG, with completion of all associated paperwork
- LPG cylinder deliveries to agents
- LPG cylinder deliveries to metered customers
- Inspection and maintenance of LPG fittings and connections and reporting any faults
- Inspection and maintenance of LPG installations and reporting any faults
- Assist in cylinder filling
- Safe loading and unloading of cylinder trailers
- Purging LPG cylinders into service
- Testing cylinder filling scales for tolerances
- Forklift driving
- Maintenance of plant and equipment and in-house repairs
- Carry out inspections and audits
- Undertake, implement and assist with risk assessments
- Participate in relevant training courses and subsequent assessment
- Work in conjunction with other company departments and contractors
- Co-operate with safety audits and inspections carried out by management and other staff
- Reporting of any accident, incident or near miss to the relevant company authority and assist with any subsequent investigation
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and relevant approved codes of practice
- Undertake other duties, as and when required, to ensure the efficient operation and presentation of the LPG business (i.e. general gardening, washing of vehicles, painting, housekeeping and maintenance)
- Ensure customer facing work is carried out to a high standard in accordance with the company values
