The Isle of Harris Distillery is recruiting a Brand Design Lead to take responsibility for the visual identity of its spirits brands during a 12 month maternity cover period. This role suits an experienced graphic designer who wants to lead brand design work for a globally recognised distillery rooted in the Outer Hebrides.

The role

  • You will be the lead voice on all elements of brand design across Isle of Harris Gin and The Hearach Single Malt Whisky.
  • You will oversee and deliver design work across packaging, print, digital, and brand assets.
  • You will ensure visual consistency and quality across all brand touchpoints.
  • You will work closely with internal teams to support marketing, product, and commercial activity.
  • You will manage design projects from concept through to delivery, meeting deadlines and brand standards.

Working pattern

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. The role is based at the distillery in Tarbert, with flexibility to work at the distillery or from home where appropriate. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 17.30.
