To assist in the development and delivery of Adult Community Learning opportunities in venues across Anglesey. Engage with communities to promote the work of the Library Service.
Responsibilities
- To plan, organise and deliver Digital Inclusion and Information Literacy training for members of the public and staff and to promote the use of the Service's Digital platforms.
- To maintain good relations with partners across the geographical area and represent the Authority in relevant meetings at an operational level.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of courses and activities at various locations in accordance with the needs of the Service and in response to learner need.
- To liaise with community groups and third sector organisations and keep informed about potential need/desire for courses and informal learning in communities around Anglesey.
- To ensure the Library Service's place at the heart of the community, increasing awareness of libraries as welcoming spaces that support learning, access to information and community connection and wellbeing.
