This is an opportunity for an imaginative, innovative, and competent person to join the Isle of Anglesey County Council’s Communications Unit.

As our digital and social media officer, you will work as a member of the busy Communications Unit. You will work with colleagues to deliver Communication Unit’s aims and objectives, as outlined in line with the strategic communication plan, as well as promote the Council Plan’s vision, objectives, and values.

You will play a key role in updating and monitoring the Isle of Anglesey County Council’s corporate social media channels; provide editorial support for both external and internal publications and deal with the press and media on a daily basis.

You will also be responsible for fostering engagement and improving overall reach of existing corporate social media channels; and reporting on both of these aspects.
