To lead the Learning Service’s ALN & Inclusion data governance, assurance and business intelligence function, ensuring the lawful, secure and high-quality collection, interpretation and reporting of complex pupil, provision and performance data. The post holder will:

  • Design and implement service-wide data standards, digital processes, dashboards and assurance arrangements;
  • Ensure lawful, secure and high-quality management of ALN & Inclusion data, including compliance with information governance requirements, data assurance standards and statutory education return requirements;
  • Provide authoritative advice and challenge to senior leaders, schools and partners;
  • Lead on access controls, data quality, audit and system improvement;
  • Ensure that intelligence supports statutory compliance, service planning, scrutiny and continuous improvement.

The post promotes best practice, builds capability through guidance and training, and enables informed decision-making by senior leaders and elected members.
