Role Overview
Islands Chocolate is looking for a Content and Digital Growth Manager to take the lead in shaping and implementing our brand content calendar. You’ll live and breathe the Islands brand to create engaging content, bringing our story to life and building our social community. We have exciting plans for the year ahead, and with over 100% growth year on year for the past three years, it’s a fantastic time to join the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging, on-brand content (video, photo, copy) that drives reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with our marketing team and external partnerships to produce high-quality assets.
- Assist in the planning, editing and execution of photoshoots and artwork.
- Stay ahead of trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Community & Influencer Engagement
- Build and nurture our online community - responding to DMs, comments, and mentions across our social channels.
- Identify and manage influencer partnerships and brand collaborations, outreaching to potential partners to keep Islands front of mind for their audiences.
- Monitor sentiment and feedback to inform content and product strategy.
Digital Marketing & Performance
- Manage and optimise paid social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Google) to drive traffic and sales.
- Track KPIs and report on performance across channels to feed into monthly marketing report.
- Support email marketing and CRM initiatives with compelling content and segmentation strategies.
- Ensure consistency across touchpoints and tailoring our story effectively depending on the channel used.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience, with at least 12 months of that in a similar role delivering a content strategy for a premium brand.
- Obsessed with social media, with proven experience growing TikTok, YouTube and Instagram channels.
- Highly skilled in creating well-crafted copy, photography, social-first video and marketing materials.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut, Canva, Klaviyo and Shopify.
- Fantastic communication skills - able to keep all stakeholders in the loop in good time.
- Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
- A real people person, able to fit into a vibrant and busy company culture.
- Highly proactive - you get out there, make stuff happen and tackle blockers head on.
- A flair for creativity - comfortable creating beautiful concepts and delivering them down to the finest detail.
- Experience in and a love of the craft food & drink challenger brand community.
