Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our team as a Trade Sales Assistant. This is a varied role involving both customer-facing responsibilities and hands‑on support in the Yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide quotes, manage orders, and process sales for uPVC and aluminium products.
- Use Business Pilot software to input data and maintain accurate records.
- Create quotations and process orders using Window Designer software.
- Assist with unloading deliveries (e.g., glass, frames, doors) and organising materials for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised storage environment.
- Support colleagues across departments during busy periods.
Essential Requirements
- Strong IT skills: Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software.
- Customer service excellence: Friendly and professional, able to build rapport with both new and returning customers.
- Physically capable: Manual handling of heavy items is a routine part of this role.
- Willingness to learn: Eager to gain product knowledge and develop skills in quoting and order management.
- Team player: Ready to assist colleagues and contribute to a positive working environment.
