Island Windows are seeking a reliable and organised Service & Repairs Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our Service and Repairs Department. This is a varied administrative role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with enquiries.
- Scheduling and booking engineer appointments.
- Maintaining regular communication with customers throughout the service process.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and received within required timescales.
- Ordering parts and monitoring deliveries.
- Raising purchase orders and verifying receipt of goods and services.
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues relating to orders or deliveries.
- Raising customer invoices and monitoring outstanding payments.
- Chasing overdue payments when required.
- Filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate records.
- Keeping the CRM system updated with relevant customer and job information.
- Providing cover for the Service Manager during periods of holiday or absence.
Skills & Experience
- Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
