Experienced Front of House Staff required at Island Sailing Club.

As part of our Front of House Waiting Staff, we’re really looking for someone with a passion for excellent customer service, that really bursts with enthusiasm to continue to learn more alongside a supportive team.

The club is renowned for its high standards and it’s important to us that we have a team in place that can follow these standards and exceed them where possible.

Naturally, the club is extremely busy throughout the summer period and slows down in the winter months where you will be focusing more on functions such as parties, weddings or corporate entertaining. These functions can cater for up to 150 people and will require you to be a real team player in order to produce only the best experience for our guests and members.

The increase in our customer base throughout the summer means you will be working in a very fast paced environment, it’s important to us that you’re able to cope with this and ideally have some previous experience of this volume within a previous role.

Main responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Use a till to take orders and payments.
  • Handle cash.
  • Serve customers at thebaror at the table.
  • Keep thebarclean and well stocked.
  • Give advice on drinks and meals to suit customers' tastes.
