A top firm in Cayman is seeking a Transaction Services/Deal Advisory Assistant Manager. The deal advisory work in Cayman is diverse and includes transaction services, corporate finance, private company valuations, including FDD, M&A, public sector business case development, financial modelling, etc. Strong FDD experience is the key requirement.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with and executing all aspects of transaction services, corporate finance and valuation engagements, including private company valuations, mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, public sector business case development, etc.
- Developing proposals.
- Liaising and working with the global member firm network.
- Performing industry and market research.
- Maintaining client files in accordance with the firmβs guidelines.
- Compiling and maintaining electronic data rooms.
- Leading projects, including managing cross-border engagement teams, communicating with clients, and reviewing work ahead of senior managers and Directors/Partners.
- Facilitating ongoing administration of the department.
- Marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA etc.).
- Ideally: 4 β 5 years in Deal Advisory/Transaction Services within a Top 10 accountancy or global advisory firm. OR: Audit-qualified + 1 β 3 years in Deal Advisory/Transaction Services.
- Currently working in a major financial hub (UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia etc).
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills are essential.
- Ideal but not essential: An interest in technology and analytics, with a strong understanding of AI tools and technology used for data processing and analysis.
