Domestic Assistant

Responsible for: To undertake a wide range of domestic tasks and to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in all areas of the nursery.

Accountable to: Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, and Board of Directors

Duties

  • Wash and dry all laundry on a daily basis to include folding and putting clean washing into the appropriate sections.
  • Wash dishes in the kitchen area after dinner in the evening and sterilize all surfaces.
  • Clean the staff room weekly: include the fridge, cupboards, bins and surrounding areas.
  • Prepare the breakfast trolley of each of the rooms.
  • Accommodate any cleaning duties deemed necessary by either the Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.
