Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage pace of play to ensure rounds are completed within expected timeframes
  • Patrol the course and provide friendly assistance and guidance to players
  • Ensure green fees and guest fees are correctly paid and verified
  • Act as a liaison between players, the Professional Shop, and management
  • Respond to on-course emergencies and assist with first aid situations when required
  • Monitor weather conditions and ensure player safety during adverse conditions
  • Support club competitions, charity events, and shotgun starts
  • Assist with scorecard handling, results input, and competition administration
  • Maintain key club areas including the first tee, entrance hall, trolley shed, and back garden
  • Ensure golf buggies are clean, charged, and presentable for daily use
  • Report any misconduct or breaches of club rules to management
