We’re looking for a kind, reliable Head Housekeeper to help keep our care home clean, tidy and welcoming. As a Head Housekeeper, you’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly day to day. Alongside hands-on cleaning, you’ll help guide the housekeeping team, keep supplies organised, and make sure high standards are maintained throughout the home. This isn’t just about cleaning – it’s about creating a space where residents feel comfortable, respected and truly at home. What Your Day Could Look Like
- You’ll help keep the home clean, organised and running smoothly for everyone.
- Leading by example with high standards of cleaning across rooms and shared spaces
- Supporting and guiding other housekeepers in their day-to-day work
- Supporting with deep cleaning
- Help cover holidays or busy periods
- Encouraging strong teamwork between care and housekeeping staff
- Managing stock levels and ordering cleaning products
- Keeping cupboards organised and equipment well maintained
- Acting as a key point of contact for the housekeeping team
