  • Champion a safety-first culture across IGP and our contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Develop and continuously improve our QHSE management system, ensuring full compliance with UK legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead CDM, acting as the company expert, managing Principal Designer and Principal Contractor appointments across the portfolio.
  • Define and drive HSE performance metrics, reporting directly to the COO and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Oversee audit, NCR, and incident investigation across multi-contractor construction sites.
  • Assess and qualify contractors and suppliers based on QHSE credentials and performance.

Essential

  • 7-10 years' experience leading QHSE in a construction or infrastructure environment.
  • Engineering background with a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable expert knowledge of CDM 2015, the UK HSE regulatory framework, and ISO 9001/45001.
  • Proven track record managing contractors and leading incident investigations.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills – you can embed safety culture at every level, from the boardroom to site.
  • Experience overseeing QHSE across multi-contractor sites, including audit and NCR processes.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in quality management for solar PV and/or BESS installations and HV, including witness/hold point processes.
  • Commissioning oversight experience, and familiarity with NGET.

Why IGP?

We're not just building solar farms – we're building the infrastructure that will power the UK's clean energy future.
