IGP is building the UK's leading solar and storage NSIP portfolio and we're now looking for the person who will lead and shape the operational side of that journey. This is a rare opportunity to build an asset management function from the ground up. You won't be inheriting a team or a playbook. You'll write it instead. Reporting directly to the COO, you'll define the strategy, hire the team, establish the frameworks, and take ownership of performance across a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS assets.

What you'll own

  • You'll be responsible for the full asset management lifecycle, from driving cross-functional input during development and construction, through commissioning and handover, to long-term operational performance.
  • That means building the team, setting the operating model, managing O&M contractors and service providers, and ensuring the portfolio delivers on its technical, commercial, and financial potential.

This is an equal mix of leadership, commercial rigour, and technical depth and you'll need all three.

Who we're looking for

  • 10+ years in large-scale infrastructure or energy asset management, with hands-on experience across solar PV and/or BESS projects in the UK.
  • A track record of building and scaling lean, high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing complex multi-contractor, multi-stakeholder assets through the full project lifecycle - commissioning, acceptance, warranty, and steady-state operations.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including project finance exposure.
  • Solid grounding in UK energy regulation and grid interface management.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, digital asset management, and performance analytics tools.
  • Experience working with NGET and NESO is a significant advantage.

Why IGP?

We're at an exciting point in our growth, where we're actively delivering projects at scale and building the operational team that will manage them for decades. This is a senior leadership role with real strategic influence, the backing of the executive team, and the opportunity to shape what best-in-class asset management looks like in the UK renewables sector.

If you're ready to build something significant, we'd like to hear from you! Apply directly or reach out to Paula Rabiega, who leads our Talent Acquisition function, to find out more.
