Key responsibilities
  • Take ownership of invoice processing and supplier payments across assigned entities
  • Manage accounts payable activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong supplier relationships
  • Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies where needed
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
  • Provide cover for employee expense processing when required
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support general finance administration
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and controls
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to provide dependable finance support
What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who can quickly become a dependable member of the team, particularly within accounts payable, and who is confident working with minimal supervision. You will likely bring:

  • Around 2-3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts payable role
  • A relevant qualification (AAT, ICB, IAB, or similar; a degree is not essential although welcome)
  • Experience with invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations
  • Exposure to month-end processes
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle), or a strong aptitude for systems
  • Solid Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset
