Help shape some of the UKs largest renewable energy projects
Island Green Power is growing rapidly, with an ambitious pipeline of solar and battery storage developments that will play a critical role in the UKs energy transition. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a strong Chartered Surveyor to join our Land team and help unlock, secure and manage the land needed to deliver these major projects.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving complex land challenges and working on projects with real scale and long-term impact. You'll be involved from the earliest stages of development through to construction and operation, working alongside experts across development, planning, legal, grid and asset management.
The role
You’ll take the lead on land and stakeholder matters across a portfolio of renewable energy projects, including:
- Securing land for new development opportunities
- Negotiating options, leases, easements and access rights
- Building trusted relationships with landowners, agents and stakeholders
- Supporting nationally significant infrastructure and planning applications
- Managing land-related matters through development, construction and operation
- Helping identify and shape new project opportunities across the UK
About you
You’re a strong Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) who understands how to operate in a rural and infrastructure environment.
You may currently be working in renewable energy, utilities, transport, water or another infrastructure sector. Equally, you might come from a strong rural surveying background and be looking to move into a fast-growing industry with significant long-term investment.
Most importantly, you'll be comfortable negotiating complex land agreements, building credible relationships with landowners and advisers, and balancing commercial objectives with stakeholder interests.
Why Island Green Power?
This is an opportunity to join a business with a proven track record and a significant UK development pipeline at a time of continued growth. You'll have the chance to influence projects from an early stage, work on nationally important infrastructure and be part of a team helping deliver the renewable energy needed for the future.
Alongside a competitive package, we offer flexibility on location, private healthcare, pension contributions, an EV salary sacrifice scheme and the opportunity to build your career in one of the fastest-growing parts of the energy sector.
