As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our collaborative and high-performing finance team.

Key responsibilities- Take ownership of invoice processing and supplier payments across assigned entities
- Manage accounts payable activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong supplier relationships
- Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies where needed
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
- Provide cover for employee expense processing when required
- Maintain accurate financial records and support general finance administration
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and controls
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to provide dependable finance support
We are looking for someone who can quickly become a dependable member of the team, particularly within accounts payable, and who is confident working with minimal supervision. You will likely bring:
- Around 2-3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts payable role
- A relevant qualification (AAT, ICB, IAB, or similar; a degree is not essential although welcome)
- Experience with invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations
- Exposure to month-end processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle), or a strong aptitude for systems
- Solid Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset
You are someone who:
- Takes ownership of your work and delivers consistent, high-quality output
- Is keen to build and deepen your experience over the next few years
- Has an interest in working in the renewable energy sector
