Role Description

The Researcher is a full-time, on-site position based in Lincoln. The role involves designing and conducting research projects, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and preparing reports, manuscripts, and presentations for academic and institutional audiences. The Researcher will collaborate with faculty, students, and external partners, contribute to grant proposals, and support the development of innovative, evidence-based solutions aligned with the university’s academic priorities. Day-to-day responsibilities also include performing literature reviews, maintaining accurate research documentation, adhering to ethical and institutional guidelines, and participating in seminars, workshops, and academic events.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in research design, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Proficiency in academic writing, literature review, and preparation of research papers and reports.
• Experience with statistical or analytical tools (e.g., SPSS, R, MATLAB, or similar) and data management.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, communicate complex ideas clearly, and present findings effectively.
• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities), or equivalent research experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in an academic environment.
• Familiarity with research ethics, institutional review processes, and best practices for responsible conduct of research.
• Prior publication in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, or funded research participation is an advantage.
