As a Programme Producer, you will be responsible for shaping programme content, managing production processes, and ensuring smooth delivery from idea to broadcast. You will work closely with presenters, editors, and technical teams to produce engaging and reliable programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and plan programme ideas from concept through to transmission
- Research topics and structure programme content
- Write scripts, running orders, and production briefs
- Manage production schedules, workflows, and deadlines
- Ensure all output complies with Ofcom broadcasting guidelines
- Coordinate with presenters, studio managers, editors, and technical teams
- Organise and oversee studio and location shoots
- Identify and brief contributors and guests, preparing background notes and questions
- Supervise post-production and guide editors to final delivery
- Support live broadcasts and resolve production issues as they arise
- Contribute to current affairs and Islamic content for broadcast and social media
- Assist with team coordination and support junior production staff where required
Requirements
